Mix Skin-to-Skin Cami with Cummerbund Set by VIJA Design

SGD $88.00 SGD $108.00

Special colours! Limited time only.

Select from Blue/Black and Black/Charcoal.

The perfect combination! This 2 piece set is very practical and functional.

More than a pretty cross-over cami, it allows skin-to-skin and breastfeeding - and also refines the silhouette! Baby can sit inside the cross front sections in "frog" position, legs are out to the sides (or feotal position for newborns). For hands-free skin-to-skin baby carrying, slip over baby + garment the Basic coordinated cummerbund.

The Skin-to-Skin Kangaroo Cami is ethically made in Canada from good quality high density stretch 94% cotton / 6% spandex jersey without heavy metal contamination to ensure new mother’s confidence to carry up to about 20lb (9kg) baby.

The Basic Cummerbund can be used for home kangaroo care, as a belly band, and much more! More than a simple cummerbund / bellyband... This will be the most versatile item of your "Mom" wardrobe! Can be used as support band to do hands-free kangaroo care with Skin-to-skin Cami, you can also use it as pregnancy bellyband, Hip band or bellyband to cover and support, bellyband to camouflage unbuttoned pants or as Tube top at the bust for added discretion at neckline - or just as a fashion item! Made of soft 94% cotton / 6% jersey.

How to wear

Step 1: Pull down the Cummerbund, place baby inside Cami. "Frog" Position: place baby on your shoulder (unstable head resting on the shoulder) and gently drag his/her leg into opposite side front panel. Then transfer Baby the other side and do the same thing. Let slip the baby down inside, with his/her bottom inside the "X". Foetal Position: just slide baby inside in this natural curled position, into the bottom of the "X".

Step 2: Pull the fabric to extend on back and shoulders. Spread the fabric along the bottom up under the knees. The buttocks should be down slightly because of the weight, the knees should then be higher (about navel height).

Step 3: Open the neckline facing over the head to maintain a safe and comfortable position (check if baby looks comfortable).

Step 4: Gently pull up the Cummerbund over him/her.

Step 5: Baby should now be securely and comfortably held in a "normal" position for a baby: slightly curved back to mom, knees up, head positioned with ease of breathing...

Note: The care of premie, low-weight babies or babies with health problems should always be under the supervision of a qualified health professional. Make sure you have consulted your healthy care professional prior to use of garment.
