  • Prenatal & Parenting Workshops – Empowering couples with evidence-based knowledge, hands-on learning, and a safe space to ask all the real questions (yes, even the messy ones).
  • Lactation Consultations – Whether you're facing breastfeeding challenges, struggling with the pump, or just want reassurance, our certified lactation support is tailored to your needs—available in-person, virtually, or even after-hours.

Meet Our Team

Rynette Tan

Founder, 13Thirteen

Rynette is a Certified Childbirth Educator, Babywearing Consultant, Lactation Counsellor, and mother of four - roles she blends with warmth, expertise, and over a decade of hands-on parenting experience.

One of the most experienced babywearing educators in Singapore, Rynette has personally used a wide range of carriers across all four of her children. She has also breastfed for 11 consecutive years, bringing real-life insight and empathy to every consultation.

With a background in Communications and Psychology, Rynette is especially passionate about how babywearing, feeding, and bonding support a child’s development and partners with clients towards confident parenting from the start.


At 13Thirteen, she offers private consultations, group workshops, and educational talks designed to equip and encourage families through the early years.

Whether you're preparing for birth, navigating feeding challenges, or learning to carry your baby safely and comfortably, Rynette brings trusted, evidence-based guidance, tailored to your family’s needs.

Jeremy Chua

Co-facilitator and Fatherhood Advocate, 13Thirteen

Jeremy is the supportive co-facilitator behind 13Thirteen’s couple-led prenatal and parenting workshops, a devoted father of four, and a full-time Financial Services Manager. In the WoW Prenatal & Parenting Workshops, he brings a grounded, relatable presence that resonates especially with expectant dads. By sharing his own experiences, Jeremy helps build confidence in new parents and fosters a sense of shared responsibility from the start.

Outside of 13Thirteen, Jeremy leads a team of consultants as a Financial Services Manager in the insurance and finance industry. He balances his professional career with a deep commitment to empowering families and breaking outdated stereotypes about fatherhood. His passion lies in helping couples navigate parenthood as a united team—where emotional support, encouragement, and involvement matter just as much as preparation.

At 13Thirteen, Jeremy is a steady reminder that parenting is a partnership. One built on respect, presence, and shared growth.

Klaries Chua

Infant First Aid & Health Trainer, 13Thirteen | Registered Nurse

Klaries is a healthcare professional, certified first aid instructor, and a new mother — a unique combination that allows her to guide parents with both clinical expertise and heartfelt empathy. With over a decade of experience in medical care and education, she is deeply committed to equipping families with the knowledge and confidence to protect their little ones.

She began her career as a combat medic in the Republic of Singapore Navy, where she spent 10 years providing critical care in high-pressure environments. Today, she continues to serve in the healthcare sector as an Operating Theatre Nurse, supporting safe and efficient surgical procedures. Alongside her clinical work, Klaries conducts training in Infant First Aid and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), making essential lifesaving skills accessible and easy to understand for parents and caregivers.

Now, as a mother herself, Klaries fully relates to the concerns of new parents. Her own parenting journey has strengthened her belief that every caregiver deserves to feel confident and capable in an emergency. Through her workshops, she empowers families to create safer home environments and respond effectively when it matters most.

Nur Mysha Tan

Operations & Admin Lead, 13Thirteen | Lactation Counsellor and Babywearing Specialist, 13Thirteen

Mysha supports 13Thirteen’s day-to-day operations, manages backend admin, and is a passionate advocate for confident, connected parenting. As a mother of three and an avid babywearer, she brings both lived experience and a heart for helping others into her work supporting young families.

A certified Lactation Counsellor, Mysha is deeply committed to helping mothers navigate the early days of feeding with greater ease and less overwhelm. Her calm, grounded presence puts parents at ease, and her own journey — from early struggles to embracing extended breastfeeding — allows her to support families with empathy and encouragement.

 

Before stepping into the world of parent education, Mysha spent years outdoors and in the classroom. She worked as an Outward Bound instructor, guiding others through physical challenges and team development, and as a preschool teacher where she nurtured young children’s growth through play and exploration. These experiences, combined with her belief in the importance of staying active and connected as a parent, shape her holistic approach to caregiving.

 

At 13Thirteen, Mysha supports workshops, shares her babywearing know-how, and continues to walk alongside parents in a way that’s both empowering and practical.

Sarah Wan

Lactation Counsellor | Co-founder, MyBBuddy

Sarah is a multitasking mother of four with a strong passion for supporting mothers on their breastfeeding journeys, particularly after caesarean births. Having successfully breastfed all four of her children following C-sections, she brings practical insight, calm encouragement, and a deep sense of empathy to the families she works with.

She is also the co-founder of our affiliate company, MyBBuddy — a breastfeeding support mobile app — where she oversees content review and quality testing to ensure the information parents receive is both accurate and supportive.

Outside of her work, Sarah is a competitive runner who trains several times a week. Her quiet strength and discipline inspire those around her. She’s living proof that parenting, purpose, and personal passion can thrive side by side.

Jeannie

  • Content Contributor & Lactation Counsellor (In Training), 13Thirteen
    Jeannie is a mother of three with a deep desire to support families through the tender, often overwhelming early years of parenthood. She holds a degree in Social Sciences (Social Work) from NUS and spent ten years working at a local charity dedicated to helping families thrive.
    Now training as a Lactation Counsellor, Jeannie contributes to 13Thirteen’s blog and resources, always writing with empathy and a hope that parents feel more seen, supported, and confident in their journey.

    Alongside her work with 13Thirteen, Jeannie also serves as a real estate agent, walking with families through the important transitions of buying or selling a home. Whether supporting parents through feeding challenges or major life changes, she brings the same steady presence and people-first approach to all she does.

Claudia Goh

Co-founder & Lead Designer, MyBBuddy

Claudia is the co-founder and lead designer of MyBBuddy, our affiliate breastfeeding support app for new mothers. As the original creative behind the app’s visual identity, she continues to shape the user experience, from in-app graphics to interface design.

 

With a strong background in branding and maternal wellness content, Claudia believes that thoughtful design can empower, educate, and comfort. Her work behind the scenes ensures that MyBBuddy remains a trusted, accessible tool for families navigating the early days of feeding and newborn care.

Though she has passed the 13Thirteen social media baton to Shirwin, Claudia remains an essential part of the team’s creative direction and collaborative spirit.

Shirwin is the Gen Z creative force currently leading all things social and visual at 13Thirteen. With a sharp eye for content and an intuitive grasp of digital storytelling, she curates posts that speak directly to today’s modern parents.
From crafting Instagram reels to designing visuals, Shirwin brings fresh energy, thoughtful messaging, and a deep respect for the experiences of new families. Her work ensures that 13Thirteen’s voice stays relevant, relatable, and cohesive across every platform.
She is passionate about using content as a tool for education and connection — making sure every post, story, and campaign serves a meaningful purpose.
