Infant First Aid and Health Workshop

Our Infant First Aid and Health Workshop is a three-hour workshop to equip you with the right knowledge and tools to identify what to do when your child is unwell and during a medical emergency. A must for every parent and caregiver!

  • CPR and AED demonstration
  • Essential infant and child first aid
    • Breathing difficulties and choking
    • Fractures and injuries to joints and soft tissues
    • Concussion and other head injuries
    • Wounds and bleeding
    • Bites, stings and burns
    • Common childhood sickness
    • What to include in a first aid kit
  • All about vaccines
    • Different childhood vaccines (mandatory vs optional)
    • Side effects of vaccines
    • Vaccine injuries
    • How to prepare for an upcoming vaccine

Please note that attending this class does not make you CPR Certified or first aid trained, but will definitely equip you with the right knowledge and tools to identify what to do during a medical emergency. A must for every parent and caregiver!

Each couple will receive a basic first aid kit to take home.

Cost: $120 per person / $180 per couple 
Helper or additional caregiver may join the couple at a fee of $80/person.

    About our Trainer


    Klaries Chua is a healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in medical care and education. She began her career with 10 years as a combat medic in the Republic of Singapore Navy, where she provided critical care in high-pressure environments. She currently works as an Operating Theatre Nurse, ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures.

    Klaries is also a certified instructor in First Aid, Infant, and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), and is passionate about empowering individuals with essential lifesaving skills. Most importantly, as a newly minted mother herself, she fully relates to the concerns of many new parents and understands the importance of ensuring a child’s safety, especially during emergencies. Her personal journey as a new parent has heightened her commitment to helping fellow parents build awareness and confidence in handling first aid for young children.

    Through this workshop, Klaries will guide parents towards creating a safer environment for their families, and prepare parents and other caregivers to be confident in protecting their little ones in any situation.
